Additional Settings for Sales Channel Integrations

You can amend different settings in your sales channel integration to suit you and your business.

To amend the options below:

1. Log into your Something Different Connect account 

2. Click 'Settings'

3. Click 'Sales Channel Integrations'

4. Click the pencil icon next to the integration you'd like to edit

5. Select 'Additional Settings'

6. Once you have finished editing the settings, click 'Save'

Default collection: If you'd like all items you source from Something Different Connect to be added to a certain collection on your store, you can select that collection by clicking in this box to open a dropdown menu. This might be useful if you'd like to add the products to a 'View All' collection for example.

Stock update: When enabled, Something Different Conenct will provide inventory updates to mapped listings on your sales channel. Click to toggle between on and off.

Price (inc VAT) update: When enabled, Something Different Connect will update prices on mapped listings when you change them in Listing Manager in Something Different Connect. Click to toggle between on and off.

Max quantity to advertise: Set the maximum number of an item you want to display for the product listing on your sales channel e.g. You may want to only display a low number to drive urgency to buy. If the stock level is higher than the number you set, it will be maintained at this value until you have less available. If the level becomes lower than the value you set, the inventory level updates the listing dynamically. 

If you'd like to use this feature you need to also toggle 'Stock Update' to 'Yes'.

Stock threshold value: Set the stock level of an item you want the Shopify listing to treat as zero (out of stock). If the stock level is higher than this number, it will not affect the listing.

If the level becomes lower than this value, the inventory level updates are set to 0 for the listing.

Once the level increases past the value set, the listing will maintain the correct level updates again. This feature could be used if you are particularly concerned about overselling.

If you'd like to use this feature you need to also toggle 'Stock Update' to 'Yes'.
